WINNER OF THE BEST PITCH AWARD AT EAST DOC PLATFORM: “TITO. THE WORLD’S FAVOURITE DICTATOR”

LOOKSfilm CEO Gunnar Dedio and director Bence Máté pitched the documentary series “TITO. THE WORLD’S FAVORITE DICTATOR” at the EastDoc (by Institute of Documentary Film) in Prague. “TITO”  was granted the Czech Television Co-production Award.

About the project:

Who was Tito? We will look behind the mythical image of one of the most enigmatic leaders of the 20th century. How did the name of a peasant boy in the Austro-Hungarian empire become synonymous with the rise and fall of a state once called Yugoslavia? How be a bloody handed tyrant, an adamant communist and a welcome guest in all major western powerhouses at the same time?
