LOOKSfilm produziert seit 1995 hochwertige Dokumentarfilme, Dokumentationen, Spielfilme und Serien für Kino, Fernsehen und VoD-Plattformen. Mit Standorten in Leipzig, Berlin, Magdeburg und Hamburg haben wir bereits über 100 nationale und internationale Produktionen realisiert – mit einem besonderen Fokus auf historische Stoffe und internationale Koproduktionen.

Für unsere Creative Producing-Abteilung am Standort Berlin suchen wir ab September 2025 eine:n

Praktikant:in (m/w/d)
in Vollzeit (ca. 3 Monate)
Vergütung: 400 € / Monat

Deine Aufgaben

• Eigenständige Recherchen zu historischen Hintergründen, Protagonist:innen und Expert:innen für unsere internationale Serie „The Last Days of Kabul“ über die letzten 25 Jahre in Afghanistan
• Unterstützung im Bereich Producing und Postproduktion laufender Projekte (u. a. Archivmaterial Recherche, Pressematerial, Fact Checks)
• Übersetzungen, Transkriptionen und inhaltliche Aufbereitung von Interviews mit Expert:innen und Zeitzeug:innen

Dein Profil

• Laufendes oder abgeschlossenes Studium, vorzugsweise der Medien-, Film-, Geschichts- oder Kommunikationswissenschaft
• Du verfügst über gute Deutsch- oder Englischkenntnisse. Da sich das Projekt „The Last Days of Kabul“ thematisch mit Afghanistan beschäftigt, sind Sprachkenntnisse in Dari von großem Vorteil
• Du hast eine hohe Affinität zum Dokumentarfilm und zu historischen Stoffen
• Du bist kreativ, offen und vielseitig interessiert
• Du hast eine schnelle Auffassungsgabe und eine präzise, zügige und strukturierte Arbeitsweise
• Deine Rechtschreibung ist ausgezeichnet und Dein Schreibstil einwandfrei

Internship in Film Production | Dari-Speaking Intern (Creative Producing / Project: The Last Days of Kabul)

LOOKSfilm has been producing high-quality documentaries, documentary films, feature films and series for cinema, television and VoD platforms since 1995. With locations in Leipzig, Berlin, Magdeburg und Hamburg, we have already realized over 100 national and international productions – with a special focus on historical subjects and international co-productions.

For our Creative Producing department at the Berlin location, we are looking for an

Intern (m/f/d)
in full-time (approx. 3 months)
Compensation: €400 / month

Your tasks

• Independent research on historical backgrounds, protagonists and experts for our international series “The Last Days of Kabul” about the last 25 years in Afghanistan
• Support in the area of producing and post-production of ongoing projects (including archive material research, press materials, fact checks)
• Translations, transcriptions and content processing of interviews with experts and contemporary witnesses

Your profile

• Ongoing or completed studies, preferably in media, film, history, or communication sciences
• You have very good knowledge of German or English. Since the project “The Last Days of Kabul” deals thematically with Afghanistan, language skills in Dari are of great advantage
• You have a strong affinity for documentary film and historical subjects
• You are creative, open and have a wide range of interests
• You have a quick grasp and a precise, swift and structured way of working
• Your spelling is excellent and your writing style impeccable
