Winner of the Best History Pitch at Sunny Side of the Doc: “Becoming Vietnam \u2013 The Birth Of A Nation”<\/span><\/h4>\n

The new multi-part documentary project “Becoming Vietnam \u2013 The Birth Of A Nation” by Lucio Mollica (Grimme Award winner for “Afghanistan: The Wounded Land”) has won the Best History Pitch at Sunny Side of the Doc.<\/p>\n

About the Project:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Between 1945 and 1975, Vietnamese people fought against the French, the Americans, and against each other. How did the war impact their lives?<\/p>\n

With unprecedented access to previously unknown Vietnamese archival material \u2013 now restored and in color \u2013 this series will trace the history of Vietnam from the perspective of the Vietnamese people who made it.<\/p>\n
