Durch Reporter vor dem Botschaftsgeb\u00e4ude verfolgt die europ\u00e4ische \u00d6ffentlichkeit live die dramatische Lage. Die bundesdeutsche Regierung um Helmut Schmidt, aber auch die schwedische um Olof Palme, hat die gewaltige Verantwortung, abzuw\u00e4gen zwischen Erpressbarkeit von Rechtsstaat und Demokratie durch Terroristen versus Schutz von Menschenleben. Neben Staatsvertretern und Polizisten versucht auch der junge Diplomat Folkmar Stoecker, telefonisch bei den Terroristen zu vermitteln \u2013 sein Vater Heinz Dietrich ist als Botschafter eine der Geiseln, w\u00e4hrend sich die Lage zuspitzt.<\/p>\n

Der Doku-Zweiteiler \u201eTerror in der Botschaft\u201c<\/em> beleuchtet eine der dramatischsten Terrorattacken Europas \u2013 in den 1970er-Jahren, einer Zeit, in der linksextremer Terror mit Anschl\u00e4gen, Flugzeugentf\u00fchrungen und Geiselnahmen die Politik herausforderte. Die Koproduktion von ZDF\/ARTE und SVT rekonstruiert das Geschehen aus verschiedenen Blickwinkeln.
