April 1991: Detlev Karsten Rohwedder wird im Arbeitszimmer seines D\u00fcsseldorfer Wohnhauses erschossen. Zum Zeitpunkt seines Todes war Rohwedder Chef der gr\u00f6\u00dften Holding der Welt &#8211; der Treuhandgesellschaft in Berlin, deren Aufgabe darin bestand, die rund 8000 DDR-Betriebe nach der Wende zu privatisieren. Die Hintergr\u00fcnde der Tat liegen bis heute im Dunkeln. Weder wurden seine M\u00f6rder gefasst, noch sind die Namen der T\u00e4ter bekannt. Vieles ist bis heute ungereimt: So war ausgerechnet das Arbeitszimmer des Treuhandchefs nicht mit schussfesten Glas gesichert worden.<\/p>\n<p>Klare Hinweise, die im Vorfeld des Anschlags auf ein bevorstehendes Attentat h\u00e4tten aufmerksam machen k\u00f6nnen, wurden ignoriert. Am Tatort findet die Polizei ein Bekennerschreiben der Rote Armee Fraktion. Ein Jahre sp\u00e4ter durchgef\u00fchrter DNA-Abgleich f\u00fchrt zu Wolfgang Grams, einem der f\u00fchrenden Mitglieder der Dritten Generation der RAF. War Grams in der Lage, einen solchen Pr\u00e4zisionsschuss auszuf\u00fchren wie den, der Rohwedder t\u00f6dlich traf? Oder wurde am Tatort eine falsche Spur gelegt? War vielleicht etwa die Staatssicherheit der ehemaligen DDR in den Fall verwickelt?<\/p>\n<p>Der Film rollt den &#8222;Fall Rohwedder&#8220; noch einmal neu auf &#8211; untersucht die Hintergr\u00fcnde des Attentats, wertet geheime Akten aus und sp\u00fcrt den m\u00f6glichen T\u00e4tern nach.
