Wie die griechische Finanzkrise den Euro sowie die Weltwirtschaft zu zerst\u00f6ren drohte und Griechenland beinahe ihre EU-Mitgliedschaft verlor. Wie sich nach der Ankunft von Hunderttausenden von Gefl\u00fcchteten die Mitgliedstaaten zerstritten und David Camerons Kampf um sein Referendum zum Brexit f\u00fchrte. Krisen, die die Europ\u00e4ische Union immer wieder vor Zerrei\u00dfproben stellten.<\/p>\n<p>Zu Wort kommen die politisch Handelnden selbst. Die, die sich zum Zeitpunkt der wichtigsten Entscheidungen im Raum befanden. Pr\u00e4sidenten und Premierminister, Kanzler und Kommissare wie Nicolas Sarkozy, Jean-Claude Juncker, Wolfgang Sch\u00e4uble, Matteo Renzi, Francois Hollande und Donald Tusk geben Einblicke in die zwischenmenschlichen Dramen in den Hinterzimmern Europas.<br \/>\nSie zeichnen ein Bild unterschiedlichster Pers\u00f6nlichkeiten, die in mal heftigen, mal z\u00e4hen Auseinandersetzungen um Vorteile f\u00fcr ihr Land, aber auch f\u00fcr ihre eigenen Ideale k\u00e4mpfen.<\/p>\n<p>Ein Wechselspiel aus geheimen Absprachen, Interessenskonflikte und ersch\u00fcttertem Vertrauen schaffte ein Klima, in dem Krisen verst\u00e4rkt, statt gemeinsam gel\u00f6st wurden.
